PostSubject: Charity Shield 2014 Arsenal V Manchester City Bet365   9th August 2014, 02:50

The English Community Shield takes place this Sunday 10th at Wembley Stadium between Premier League holders Manchester City and FA Cup winners Arsenal.

It’s a highly sought after fixture with football fans eager to witness some competitive action, following on from pre-season friendlies.

In terms of pre-season form, Arsenal lost 1-0 to AS Monaco yesterday despite fielding a solid line-up featuring new signings Sanchez, Debuchy and Chambers. It was a somewhat subdued scoreline compared to their 5-1 crushing of Benfica the day before.

Man City have drawn both of their latest preseason fixtures 2-2 apiece, before going on to lose each of them on penalties! One further similarity in each of the 2-2 results was Jovetic, who has been in great form so he’s likely to feature on Sunday.

Whilst pre-season friendlies aren’t much to go by, both sides will be eager to start off their domestic campaign with a trophy. Assuming he features, Sagna is one player who could feel a little awkward if Arsenal come out on top, after following Clichy and Nasri to City during the summer.

Bet365 have City as 13/10 favourites to lift the Community Shield in 90 mins, whilst Arsenal are priced at 9/4. From their last 5 meetings, there has been 2 draws, 2 City wins and 1 Arsenal win. One of which was last season’s 6-3 thriller, so let’s hope for more of the same in terms of goals scored!*

In addition to having a comprehensive range of pre-match markets on offer for the big game you can also bet as the action unfolds with bet365’s industry leading In-Play service. As always, there'll be plenty to choose from, with a variety of In-Play markets available throughout the game including Next Goal, Total Corners, Half-Time Result, Full-Time Result, Final Score and much more.

What’s more, even a goalless draw wouldn’t be the worst result thanks to bet365’s Bore Draw Money Back offer. Place a pre-match Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast bet on any match, and if the game finishes 0-0 after 90 minutes, bet365 will refund all losing bets on these markets!
