PostSubject: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns – Sunday November 25, 2012 1:00PM EST   22nd November 2012, 02:26

If you want proof that the Cleveland Browns is still without proper leadership, you only need to look at the recent insistence that the team is evaluating the future of Brandon Weeden as its starting quarterback. You do not need to be an online sports books experts to see that the Browns are not going back to Colt McCoy at quarterback and that many of the Browns’ offensive ills have nothing to do with Weeden. But the team insists on grabbing headlines by bringing into question the future of the best quarterback Cleveland has had in some time. Despite its fumbling around in the front office, the Browns still have an ideal opportunity to grab what could be a big win this week.

The Pittsburgh Steelers come to Cleveland for this game as only a shell of its former self. Theonline football bettingexperts reported that the Steelers is so desperate at wide receiver that it
signed Plaxico Burress for a second go-around with the team. Pittsburgh must begiven credit for maintaining its winning ways despite some of the worst injury luck in NFL history. But with a third-string quarterback under center for this game and an offense that is in traction, the Pittsburgh Steelers do not pose a strong threat against a healthy Cleveland defense this week.

Cleveland
Browns

If you bet on sports, then you knowthe challenging history of the Cleveland Browns. For the most part, the Cleveland Browns has been unable to get out of its own way, and that is the case this season. Bad coaching decisions coupled with an inadequate wide receiver corps has made Brandon Weeden look bad in his rookie season. But Weeden and rookie running back Trent Richardson have a chance this week to put all of the mistakes of this season behind them. The Steelers will never be more vulnerable than it is right now, and the Browns have just enough weapons to take advantage of the Steelers’ woes.

Steelers

The injury issues the Steelers has had to face almost don’t seem fair. The fickle finger of fate decided to really test head coach Mike Tomlin’s patience by knocking starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger out with an injury and then taking out backup quarterback Byron Leftwich as well. The football betting experts will never see Tomlin complain, but the coach has to be wondering how many more challenges will be thrown his way as the 2012 season presses on.

The Bottom Line

A completely healthy Pittsburgh Steelers team would have no trouble defeating a completely healthy Cleveland Browns team. But Pittsburgh is far from healthy, and the Browns can smell blood in the water. Brandon Weeden needs to take advantage of this opportunity and cement
his position as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns.

Pick:
Cleveland Browns
